Good to hear this! But personally, I also don't want to see this warning
any more: it reminds me some nightmares and frustrating experiences. And
automake-1.10 is still the installed version on some machines I have
access to.

No, I wasn't aware of it. "make -j" is not a priority for me. But you are
welcome to send patches for supporting it.
