[bug-libunistring] heads up: libunistring-0.9.10: config.sub broken?

hello

apologies if I am missing some blatant point here

For me, the config.sub which ships with the just released 0.9.10
tarball (http://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/libunistring/libunistring-0.9.10.tar.gz) is
broken: it fails to recognize the correct OS (for me: linux-gnu)

As a consequence, at configure time I get:

checking dynamic linker characteristics... no # <== NOTE
checking how to hardcode library paths into programs... immediate
checking whether stripping libraries is possible... yes
checking if libtool supports shared libraries... no # <== NOTE
checking whether to build shared libraries... no # <== NOTE

and shared libs are not built/installed, where they should, as always.

Removing the shipped configure and config.sub and regenerating
everything by forcing autogen.sh fixes everything (note: if this can be
of any importance, I run "autogen.sh --skip-gnulib" and use my local
gnulib, at the latest commit a4e42bc895fcc04147f70dc93b89708342daaf27)

(BTW: I now see that gnulib's commit
a4e42bc895fcc04147f70dc93b89708342daaf27 is just about config.sub:
maybe it has something to do with the problem I am reporting...)

>From diffing config.sub(0.9.9) vs config.sub(0.9.10), the problem
seems to be the missing dashes in a multitude of clauses of case
statements; but I didn't go through.

Hope I'm doing something useful

ciao
gabriele
