Hmm, do you maybe have your TEXINPUTS set to /users/rz/temp/temp?


LaTeX should say one of:

  (foo.tex  or (/tmp/@16561.0ly2dvi/foo.tex

Strange, when I do that, ly2dvi will overwrite the faulty foo.tex,
though, and the second run is OK.  Maybe we should check/fix for this.
