Hello there!
First of all, many thanks for an excellent program! It took me one day to
start with lilypond and I like it.
After a few shorter and less complex things, I'm trying to set the Toccata
& Fugue in d minor, BWV 565, from J.S.Bach, taken from Bach's Organ Works
IV, with lilypond (Yes, I DO know about Mutopia project, and I want to add
it there). At the start of the Toccata, there are both hands in the upper
staff, playing a8\mordent\fermata with one octave distance as the 1st note.
However, the fermata for the upper voice is put correctly above the staff,
but while I have the fermata below the left hand (noted in the upper
staff) in the Organ Works, it seems to be no way to have lilypond do the
same. Even the manual doesn't tell me how to do so.
If I missed something, please don't mind, but in case you'll add
functionality for that, I'd be glad to get a line when it's done.
BTW, I'm using GNU LilyPond 1.6.0 on Linux.
