Sorry for the delay in answering. The part combiner is more-or-less
Jan's domain, but he is very busy with Real Work - I hope he will look
at your patch soon. One of the major problems with the PC is that the
code is so convoluted, that we ourselves aren't sure what it should do
exactly. Maybe you can write a small .ly file that clearly
demonstrates the behavior "before" and "after" ?
