Compiling lilypond 2.0.2 failed

Hi,

I am a new user of LilyPond and tried to install
version 2.0.2 which is mentioned to be a stable version.

So I downloaded the tar.gz archive, untar it,
go to directory which has been created and
execute the commands 
# ./configure
# make

I got the following error :

help2man: can't get `--help' info from out/midi2ly

I think that this is not an important error
because only the building of a man page failed,
but it stops the general building process.

I tried to inhibit this part of the building process
but not successfully.

I must mention that I took care of installing all
the required packages whith recent versions as
required in the installation section of the
web page. I am on a linux platform whith Red Hat 9.

I must say that I tried to install earlier versions of LilyPond
  an got various errors.
