Hi,
The "landscape" option seems to be somewhat broken. On my Fedora system
with LilyPond 2.3.18, doing:
#(set-default-paper-size "letter" 'landscape)
at the beginning, and then:
\paper {
#(set-paper-size "letter" 'landscape) % (or even without the 'landscape)
}
as suggested in the documentation, results in the music being oriented
correctly, but the page in xdvi or xpdf or acroread or gpdf or ggv (*.ps)
still being orienteed as Portrait, and, I believe, A4 as well. In any
case, replacing "letter" with "a4" also results in a portrait-oriented
page.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? I'd love to know of a
workaround if there is one. Adjusting the settings in \bookpaper, e.g.:
\bookpaper {
hsize = 11\in
vsize = 8.5\in
linewidth = 11\in
}
doesn't seem to help; again, it formats the music correctly, but not the
page.
Please let me know if there is a workaround or if I'm just doing the wrong
thing; otherwise, I'll assume it's a bug which needs to be fixed.
Thanks,
Marcus Macauley
