Hi Pete
if i understand correctly, the solution is just to insert a \partial 1 -
briefly just to make the restart of the time counting…
your 2nd alternative then looks like
{
\partial 1 c'4->\> a 8-. f -. c 4-.\! e'4-.\f |
f 2.\f
}
which is what i guess you want.
