Comment #9 on issue 1208 by brownian.box: Some combination of 'staff-affinity for two Lyrics may cause unwanted vertical space
http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=1208 Thank you, looks nice! About what i would like to have.I think it would be great if "paused" lyrics (as "A" in measures 2,5 and "V" in measures 1,3,4 of last example (comment #7-8)) were not taken into account when calculating distances. I mean "look up to the next line --- if it's lyrics and empty here, skip and look up further..." Definitely, i don't know how distances are calculated, but i believe it's possible.
Then in Issue 1161 lyrics with "c c c c" would be centered between staves, then --- i expect .) --- "A" and "V" in the last example would be aligned in the first system, because both would calculate distances to staves, ignoring "paused" neighboring lyrics.
Then, i expect, that musixlyr/musixtex-crafted example (in comment #6) would be achieved automagically (if there is three lyrics, common with CENTER, upper with UP and lower with DOWN). I expect.
Please, let me know if this is reasonable/possible/too-hard/stupid/should-be-another-issue or the like.
Thank you. Indeed!
