I've tried to convert a MIDI file into LilyPond (version 2-19.83-1) usingthe command prompt, but it gives me an error: File "C:\Program Files (x86)\LilyPond\usr\bin\midi2ly.py", line 545 sys.stderr.write ("SKIP: %s\n" % `e`) ^ SyntaxError: invalid syntax What's the problem with the code?
It's a compatibility issue between Python 2 and 3. The backtick operator was removed [1] in Python 3, in favor of the repr() procedure.
