from my perspective it seems like you were reading to much into the 
lines written by Timothy. I’m going to blame the shortcomings of 
written/digital communication and suggest that Timothy did not mean to 
convey the kind of attitude that he ended up conveying towards you.

That being said, I know that you have no duties toward this project and 
are entirely free to decide whether you want to spend any time on it, 
without having us debate you on that.
