undocumented incompatibility

Hello,

I'm not sure, if the following is a bug in Gnu m4 or only in its
documentation.

I use Solaris 8, with its own m4 installed in /usr/ccs/bin/ and 
Gnu m4 1.4 in /usr/local/gnu/bin/.

The following shows the incompatibility:

pushdef(`LALA', lala2)dnl
define(`LALA', lili)dnl

LALA
address@hidden > /usr/ccs/bin/m4 test.m4
LALA
address@hidden > /usr/local/gnu/bin/m4 test.m4 
lala

This is not mentioned in the section _Compatibility with other versions
of m4_ of the documentation (i.e.
http://www.gnu.org/manual/m4/html_mono/m4.html)
