Hello.
Debian has just switched to gcc 4.1 as the default compiler, so we are
now looking at some build logs very closely.
When building m4 on a 64-bit architecture, the build log reads as follows:
regex.c:3995: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size
regex.c:3995: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size
regex.c:4001: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4001: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4148: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4148: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4201: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4201: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4371: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size
regex.c:4371: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size
regex.c:4404: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4404: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4417: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4417: warning: cast to pointer from integer of different size
regex.c:4588: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size
regex.c:4588: warning: cast from pointer to integer of different size
which I think it should not happen.
Thanks.
