Hi,

 

As requested by the M4 program, an error report.

 

I could not find any directions what to report nor any indication why things go wrong.

This is what I have:

OS: vista ultimate, dutch.

GNUwin32 installed in “C:\Program Files\GnuWin32” (by default)

Another identical machine installed two months ago without any problem.

 

When I start M4 I get the following message.

 

E:\>m4 --help

 

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

Please contact the application's support team for more information.

m4: internal error detected; please report this bug to <address@hidden>: Aborted

 

I tried to install M4 in a different directory (E:\Program Files\GnuWin32\bin) just to be shure, same results.

 

For me this is a problem and I don’t know what to do next, not enough information to continue.
