Hi,
Looks like the '\' character at the end of a comment continues to have the
same special meaning. Please refer to the 3 liner makefile attached here
with. when I invoke make, I get the following error...
Makefile:3: *** commands commence before first target. Stop.
When I remove the \ char fro the comment, it works fine. Should make not
disable the special meaning of \ when it sees it in a comment line?
Version of GNU Make : 3.79
Thanks,
