Hello,
I have a suggestion regarding the bkgd man page. It would be nice
if it said that backaground rendition of a subwindow is not inherrited
from the parent window (if this is true, which it seems to be). This
can be seen by refreshing a window with a certain background attribute
and then refreshing a subwindow with a certain background attribute.
That the background rendition is not shared may seem obvious to some
but not to others because the subwin page says that a subwindow shares
memory with its parent. Perhaps the subwin man page should be more
specific as well and state exactly which aspects are shared since
background attributes (e.g. A_REVERSE) is certainly not one of them
although the contents of the character cells certainly is.
Thanks,
Neil
