tic / disable-ext-functions

Hello,

I was trying to update the ncurses coming with Slackware 7.1 to ncurses 5.2
I compiled it with a variety of options, but tic always segfaults when trying 
to install termcap.src on line 1

So i tried to disbale the extended functions, and then the whole make just 
crashes. I tried this on multiple Slackware 7.1 machines, and they all give me 
the same problem. 

I also tried it with the disable switch as the _only_ switch, but with no luck.

I don't really think it's a bug, though I find it pretty odd it happens :>
