line break lower right corner

Hi all,
in some occassions when I write to the lower right corner I get a 
line break. As I now the weakness due to compatibility I don't 
understand why the break does not occur within a logical 
frequency. When I add A_BOLD (usind color) to the character the 
problem seems to be fixed.

Are there any other known problems this alike?
