As we get continuosly questions about more detailed documentation
(indicating the lack of it:-(, we often tell that ncurses is a clone of
SVr4 curses (aka ETI) and that one should consult the documentation
coming with such systems. Some vendors provide online access to this
documentation, one for example can be found under

http://uw7doc.sco.com

Follow the menu items "Software Development -> Character user interface
programming" and you can find almost anything about ETI you need to
program with ncurses.
