        + updated/expanded Apple_Terminal and Darwin PowerPC terminfo entries
          (Benjamin C W Sittler).
        + add putty terminfo entry -TD
        + if configuring for wide-curses, define _XOPEN_SOURCE_EXTENDED, since
          this may not otherwise be defined to make test/view.c compile.
