Since windows/xp is a value-reduced product, I don't anticipate running
it myself until the next time I buy a new piece of hardware.
Cygwin has ncurses 5.2, Interix (it appears, from reading the webpage)
has ncurses 4.2
The current version of ncurses is 5.3 (20021012)
