But it's broken. The --tag argument doesn't get included in the relink command. So there's no point in including --tag in the primary link command ("just in case we need it") when it will NOT, at present, make it into the relink command in the uninstalled .la file.
We should revisit the --tag issue AFTER libtool-1.5.x is fixed to carry it into the relink_cmd.
We don't need it now; and if we DO need it we STILL won't be able to install. So skip it, for now.
