I've run into a situation where my application, which uses the forms and panels
libraries, will pollute the screen with random characters here & there when I
switch between multiple xterms on my desktop. There is also a tendency for
the data in form fields to shift 1 character to the right, affecting the rest
of the line on the screen even if the field ends before the end of the physical
screen.
Curiously the problem does not exist if I switch fonts.
Really I'm just curious if anyone else has seen this issue. In my system I am
running Solaris 9, xterm-186 from invisible-island.net, ncurses 5.4 with all
the latest patches up through today, using Solaris's xfs font server, with font
'Screen15'. I have TERM set to xterm-xfree86. I do not have a definitive list
of which fonts work, only that Screen15 seems 'broken'.
