printw() only prints blank lines ...

Hi.

 

I would be v grateful if you could take the time to look at this prob for me.

I have posted it on Linuxquestions.org but as of yet I have had v little feed back.

 

Basically after a call from recv() I obtain a message which I store in a character array and then null terminate.

If I use printf() to the print out this message all is well.

 

However if I implement ncurses in the program and use printw instead of printf() I just get a blank space where the text output would normally appear ?!??
