building ncurses on Windows

Subject: building ncurses on Windows

Hello all,

I wish to build ncurses DLL on windows. I have followed the instructions  given in Makefile.os2.

The first step was :
$ touch Makefile

The config step:
$make -f Makefile.os2 config

gives many errors including the ntvdm.exe

Also I am running these commands on cygwin on Windows, is that the problem?
