yes - I see that too, using

        --enable-widec \
        --without-normal \
        --without-debug \
        --disable-rpath \
        --disable-relink \
        --with-shared \
        --with-system-type=darwin8

(though of course I can't compile it...).  I'll look/see what the fix is.
