Ncurses/Forms: Alignment for dynamic Fields

Hi,

quite some time ago I suggested to enhance NCurses/Forms to allow
dynamic fields to be aligned and also provided a patch to enable such a
behaviour, however I did not get any response [0].
Is Ncurses/Forms at the "maintainence only" level and will be not
extended in the future (to support mentioned feature for example) or is
my patch lacking the proper quality to included into the project?
