Is it possible that there just isn't enough of a following to support a separate API?I don't get a lot of comments about the Ada API (it would be nice to update it to use the Ada 2005 features for locale support, to provide wide-characters). Ditto for the C++ binding.
Hi ThomasI have had a love/hate relationship with Ada and it's settling into like but not love.
I like the idea of using Ada and ncurses together but is it fair to say that there isn't a very large Ada-ncurses following and not much in the way of examples.
If you felt it was a good idea I could try to switch all the Ada identifiers to their C counterparts? I have many other promises to keep first but I could get this done in the next 3-6 months.
Ada programmers could read the C documentation instead of the Ada one. Ada programmers could look at the C examples instead and write their own programs from looking at the C ones, without having to cross reference the different Ada API to match the C calls.
If someone is going to try and use Ada ncurses they are going to have some kind of C background already.
Thanks again for all your hard work and happy new year! -Patrick
