Please don't answer this if you are not comfortable doing so, you might 
get flamed for endorsing one distro over another...

I run Trisquel Linux, an Ubuntu based distro. It's been good to me but I 
am already concerned about systemd and thinking about moving.

If Ubuntu has self inflicted ncurses bugs etc, what distro supports 
ncurses the best? I am willing to switch to BSD.
