Or... when they run into it, they keep fiddling with their program until
they get ncurses to display things correctly.  :)

But yes, probably very few people work with double-width characters in the
lower right corner.

Testing the recipe with ncurses-6.2-20210130 and 20210206, the behavior
has changed, but now the cactus character is "hidden" (not displayed)
when "c" has been typed, even though there are still two columns left.
The cursor and "abc123" are where they should be, but there are two
empty cells where "ㄓ" should be.
