Simple question on (u)rxvt (with TERM=rxvt-unicode): in rxvt-basic the arrow
keys are given as

  kcub1=\E[D, kcud1=\E[B, kcuf1=\E[C, kcuu1=\E[A, 

this agrees with the result on the shell command line

 ^[[D^[[A^[[B^[[C

but not within an application like vim

 ^[OD^[OA^[OB^[OC

aka keyboard transmit mode (smkx/rmkx) ... the same result for urxvt-256color
(with TERM=rxvt-unicode-256color)
