Somehow I didn't received (or lost) your message and I have seen it now
on mail.gnu.org. Sorry.
Ocrad won't compile with g++ 2.95. You need at least g++ 3.0. The older
version I personally test is 3.2.3.
I'll tell you about the other failures.
