Also, on an unrelated note: Would it be possible to provide a tar.gz download for ocrad as well as the existing tar.lz version? I notice that previous versions offered both, but recent versions only have the tar.lz option.
Lzip is very easy to install, but if you need a gzipped tarball you can find it, for example, here:
