This seems to be fixed in 20150422
$ parallel --no-notice -j100 --halt-on-error 2 'sleep {} && touch {} &&
exit 1' ::: 2 4 8; ps -ef | grep [t]ouch; ls; sleep 8; ls
parallel: This job failed:
sleep 2 && touch 2 && exit 1
zsh: exit 1 parallel --no-notice -j100 --halt-on-error 2 'sleep {}
&& touch {} && exit 1'
zsh: done ps -ef |
zsh: exit 1 grep [t]ouch
