Hmmz, they're not overlapping. I'm not sure what causes this problem,
maybe it has something to do with this extended partition? are you sure
you use /dev/hda2 as SWAP partition? that seems quite weird :)
I think the answer is somewhere in the 2 errors you get while listing
the table. I guess someone on this list will know what they mean
exactly:
fdisk:
Warning: invalid flag 0x0000 of partition table 5 will be
corrected by w(rite)
parted:
Error: Invalid partition table on /UNIONFS/dev/hda -- wrong
signature 0.
