Not all of our servers support https so I can't install these changes
in a blanket fashion. I have to check each server. There are other
obstacles too. Please be patient.
You can install the changes in README now if you wish.
Have you verified that directory.fsf.org supports https?
If so, you can install the changes in standards.texi.
It is hard for me to install changes there at the moment.
