In the GNU coding standards and maintainer information, it seems there
is exactly one occurrence of "tarball":
standards.texi:3710:still consider providing them in the release tarballs, for
the benefit
In all other cases I can find, the term "tar files" is used.
Therefore I suggest s/tarballs/tar files/, for consistency.
