Ok, but at least we cannot say that a messed up DIR file makes a
problem. The only problem is the parsing algorithm in GNU i-i. What
happens if someone puts the Section text somewhere else.
But I assume that one can fix the GNU i-i versions parsing that the
section search algorithm does not find the description of an entry.

The new code-path would be
- parse the info file and extract the section
- write the info into some sort of config file into a to be specified
directory.
- After this read all the config files and generate a dir file from it.
Right?
Best wishes
