I think the js-info-based version of the DomTerm manual is now
ready to replace the docbook-based version. (Through probably not until
after the texinfo release.)
Old (docbook-based): https://domterm.org/
New: https://per.bothner.com/tmp/DomTerm-txjs
Of the issues mentioned in my email "Re: upcoming pretest release"
(2021-02-16) the only that is still an issue is this:
* Awkward sub-page link header - see email "footer navigation headers"
For example: http://per.bothner.com/tmp/DomTerm-txjs/Wire-byte-protocol.html
(Move/tweak page-end link; hide internal headers with css.)
[This is the main issue I'm hoping you or Patrice can look into.]
I consider this a minor blemish, not a show-stopper.
The remaining issues from that email are all fixed:
* js-info sidebar shows too many entries (in my opinion).
Compare https://per.bothner.com/tmp/DomTerm-txjs/Tips-and-solutions.html
with https://domterm.org/Tips-and-solutions.html
[This requires changes to info.js which I can probably handle.]
* Related: Boldface or other emphasis in the sidebar for the current page
is I think helpful.
* Hide "Script license information" link or move it to "Help" page.
It's clutter that I don't want on my website, though I might be
ok with it in the help page.
* Problems with links to files in the current "directory".
For example, try clicking on the first image on the home page.
[This is another js-info issue I can look into.]
* Fix [Function:] in synopsis to remove colon.
See http://per.bothner.com/tmp/DomTerm-txjs/The-DomTerm-JavaScript-class.html
[This can probably be done with a DomTerm-specific JavaScript hook.]
* Make sure page URLs are compatible. Specifically,
fix node or anchor names containing hyphens.
For example: http://per.bothner.com/tmp/DomTerm-txjs/electron_002dnodepty.html
* The sidebar shows an extra level of indentation.
* Minor styling differences that can probably be easily fixed with css.
