Bug (?) in md5sum

Hallo,

I have the following problems with md5sum (version from S.u.S.E. 7.2):
- I cannot find out the version, since -v, -V, -h do not work.
- main problem: When I get a .md5-file from a windows box with 
  0d0a at the end of the lines, md5sum does not find the files.
