Also, please don't turn this into a flame-fest. Had I gone on a tirade about the evils of top-posting, I could understand your response. However, I did no such thing; I simply made a polite request referring to the generally-preferred etiquette of mailing lists, which is to not top-post (and also to trim unneeded quoting in your replies).

Both TOP and BOTTOM posting is an acceptable practice.
It is up to the reader's preference as to what he/she wants.

I love how you said "reader" and not "writer" there. Most readers of mailing lists prefer interlaced posting.
