Hi! This looks great. I've applied it. I may decide to change the name
to --use-server-timestamps, to avoid confusion with proposed names for
the planned regex-matching features.

It still needs a little documentation, and ideally a test case. I'll
handle these.

Please note: if you're planning on contributing on an ongoing basis,
you'll need to sign papers with the Free Software Foundation, assigning
copyright over your work to them. This patch is small enough the papers
weren't required, but I won't be able to accept any more without them.
