Thank you for replying so quickly. I am using wget to retrieve files
from potential phishing websites. I am not currently using the
--content-disposition flag, nor can I find in the man pages or through
Google what this flag does. I am not sure exactly when or why the files
are being downloaded as I am retrieving so many URLs every day, but I
will try the debug option to hopefully find out.

Are you using --content-disposition? I wouldn't necessarily be surprised
if that was being sent to the wrong place; but other files really ought
to go under -P. If you can provide more details on the files that are
going to the wrong place, and where they're being found on the web
(--debug will tell you where it finds each link from, I think), that'd
