[Bug-wget] Invitation to FTP extensions at IETF

hi,

this is an invitation for people interested in FTP to join the FTPEXT
mailing list, which will possibly be forming a working group for FTP
extensions. I figured some people on this list with FTP experience
would like to join in.

if you'd like to contribute to the protocol, these things are on the table:

* Continue work on other drafts that are already in progress like HOST & HASH
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-hethmon-mcmurray-ftp-hosts
http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-bryan-ftp-hash
* Review and confirm or reject errata of current FTP RFCs.
* Investigate the differences between FTP in theory
(current RFCs) and practice, and recommend future work to align them.
