Hi there,

I am currently developing a load test tool based on WGet (the
pre-requisite and timestamping features are a GREAT help for that).
On interesting metric for these tests is the time spent awaiting the
answer from the server (which could be used to approximate the time
spent to generate a webpage and reaction time of the server).

WGet does not provide this metric.

Attached is a patch to display this piece of data.

Could it be a possibility to include it in the trunk as a minor feature ?
Perhaps with a command line option attached to it although seeing the
CPU and memory footprint of the modification, I am not sure whether a
command-line argument would be pertinent...

Any feedback welcome.

Mathieu Lemoine.
