I'm not a programmer, but have enjoyed _using_ wget for many years. The latest
Windows binary that I find posted is 1.11.4 of several years ago. Would
someone please post a current one? (One of the links to Windows binaries
yields a 404 error.)

Alternatively, would someone please post [a link to, or put it in the
documentation] a recipe (manual script) for a non-programmer to compile a
Windows binary for himself using a readily-available, inexpensive (free?)
compiler?

I have done some Visual Basic and VBA programming and am familiar with the VB
IDE and VBA used for Microsoft Office macros.

Many thanks,

Fred Holmes
