[Bug-wget] [ALPHA] wget parallel branch release 1.14.127-ced4

Hi,

I have merged all the changes on master in the parallel-wget development
branch and I have created an alpha tarball available here:

I am sure the new features have many bugs waiting to be discovered as it
was never extensively tested, but as long as we don't break other things
then it is fine for now :-)  My goal is to merge the code into master and
mark those feature as experimental.

I would like to do it as soon as possible, please help me to test that
it doesn't actually break existing scenarios, i.e. when multithreading
is disabled at compile time then wget should work exactly in the same
way as it does today.
