Pierre,
I'll give this a try asap. I can see that, given what you've said, the server
would NEVER see "mirror.pnl.gov". This makes sense. Perhaps some mention of
this in the man page would be helpful?

matching the server's view of its file structure? (newlines added for
easier reading)
