Please advise as to whether this is an oversight that can be corrected.
At the url
www.globalbedo.org/global.php

the help screen advises the following for downloading data for a Windows
system

*For Windows user

Download the wget setup program from here.
After installation, go to Get Data to download the shell script using
extension .bat and type "cmd" at Windows start. At the command Prompt, type
"globalbedo_wgetXXXXXXXXXX.bat" to run.

*
However, there is no .bat file to be found; just a unix-style .sh file

I nonetheless installed Wget and can run it on my Windows XP system. I have
even downloaded the script file "globalbedo_wget1378685267.sh" and modified
it by changing the extension to .bat.
This "globalbedo_wget1378685267.bat" file runs ok but I have no idea if the
option arguments for wget in this (originally) .sh file are any good for
Windows.

The data output files it delivers, when I unzip them, are all binary files
of type "GlobAlbedo.199805.mosaic.5.nc".

What can I do with these on a Windows system? Would a .bat file deliver the
data in another format?

Please offer advice if possible. Thanks.
