The absence of python 3.x is a problem.
In this case I simply want to skip the python tests (the patch does it).
I know the patch works on a Debian Lenny with just python 2.x.

grep PYTHON Makefile*
shows me, what has been detected on your system.

But if you have python3, something else goes wrong.
Please also attach the content of
testenv/Test-Head.log (after make check)
